Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is a job profile with high dignity and a great sense of responsibility. Owing to the strict standards of safety and security, the entire course towards AME licenses is governed by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India. After successful completion of three years basic AME course including 2½ years of Theoretical and Practical training and six months on the job training on fully operational aircrafts, one gets the Basic AME License (BAMEL) from DGCA.
