    • Entrance Test Eligibility For 2020

      1. Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry & Mathmatics as their majors in 10+2. Board exams appearing as well as pass out candidates may apply.
      2. The candidate who have completed their diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Aeronautical stream may also apply.
      3. Medical fitness certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner (minimum M.B.B.S).
      4. Candidate age must not be less than 16 years of age by the time of admission in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.
      5. Valid Aadhaar card/Passport copy.


      Top 60 meritorious students, who appear in the “Common Aptitude Examination” organised by the IIA Group shall be awarded with scholarship which will be valid collectively for both the organisations, JRN Institute of Aviation Technology, New Delhi and Bharat Institute of Aeronautics, Patna, operating under it.

      Examination Schedule

      1. 2020 exam will be conducted on 25th of April 2020.
      2. Examination shall be organised on the same day at both the locations.
      3. Duration of examination will be of 2 Hours for 10+2 students and 1 hour for Diploma holders.

      Examination Fee 2020

      The AME Entrance Examination Fee for IIA CAE 2020 is Rs. 1000/- for all students.

      Mode of Payment

      The examination fee has to be submitted On-Line through Credit/debit Card/ Net Banking while submitting the On-Line Application.

      Mechanics – Force, Moment, Couple, Vectors, Theory of elasticity, Pressure & Buoyancy, Linear circular & rotational movement, Theory of vibrations, Simple Harmonic Motion, Mechanical advantage, Force, Inertia, Work, Power, Heat, Efficiency, Mechanical advantage, Impulse momentum, Friction, Fluid Dynamics.

      Thermodynamics – Temperature, Heat Capacity, Specific Heat, Laws of thermodynamics.

      Optics (light) – Nature of light, Speed of light, Laws of reflection & refraction, Reflection at plane surfaces, reflection by spherical mirrors, refraction, lenses, fiber optics.

      Wave Motion and Sound – mechanical waves, Sinusoidal. wave motion, interference phenomena, standing waves Sound: Speed of sound, intensity, pitch and quality, Doppler effect.
      Mathematics Arithmetic – Arithmetic terms & Signs, methods of multiplication and division, fractions and decimals, factors and multiples, weights, measures, and conversion, factors, ratio, and proportion, averages, and percentages, areas and volumes, squares, cubes, square and cube roots.

      Algebra – Evaluating simple algebraic expressions, addition, subtraction, multiplication & division, use of brackets, simple algebraic fractions, linear equation, Indices and powers, negative and fractional indices, Binary and other applicable numbering systems, Simultaneous equations and second-degree equations with one unknown, Logarithms.

      Geometry – Simple geometrical constructions Graphical representation: nature and uses of graphs, graphs of equations/functions Simple trigonometry: trigonometrical relationships, use of tables and rectangular and polar coordinates.

      Center of Examination

      Examination will be organised at approved training premises of JRN Institute of Aviation Technology Delhi and Bharat Institute of Aeronautics Patna.

      Declaration of Result

      The results of the COMMON APTITUDE EXAMINATION will be declared in the second week of May 2020. The successful candidates will be informed through electronic mode of communication (phone & email). They will be given a time period for the submission of documents in original for the validation and acceptance by the organisation.

      Meritorious candidates, who secure top 60 ranks will be eligible for the grant of scholarship as per the COMMON APTITUDE EXAMINATION policy mentioned above.
